Uomini e capre. Una storia del Sud

A journey into the deep South, in the first half of the twentieth century, among myths, rituals and popular beliefs. A journey through wild mountains and flowery meadows, between uncultivated lands and fertile countryside, between resignation and hard-working farmers. The narrated events take place in Oragna, a remote village in the Apennine hills. The small’ story of a family saga is told against the background of the ‘big’ story of southern emigration between the two wars, of the ‘battle of the wheat’, of the misery that surrounds men and things like a dark patina. A trip down memory lane, not to forget what we were, what we have been.
