Una rivoluzione gentile

by Maraini Dacia
Una rivoluzione gentile

Dacia Maraini reflects on our country and our times and launches a challenge: kindness as a weapon to save the world. In this age of fear, we need an antidote to hatred. But can we fight for social and climate justice, for respect for women and in favour of solidarity using, quite simply, kindness as a weapon? This is the challenge that Dacia Maraini launches in this book that encompasses five years of reflections that have appeared in the national press, in which the author measures herself against the great themes of our time. She invites us into her intellectual and civil universe, giving us access to her view of the world. The fight against violence, particularly violence against women; the environmental issue as the focal point of our horizon; solidarity between generations and between different social classes are the cornerstones of her thinking. Because only a gentle revolution can show us the way to a bright future.
