Quel che manca non si può contare. Re Salomone e il libro di Qoèlet
by Salvarani, Brunetto
One of the most quoted and paraphrased biblical texts is carefully reread by a theologian whose work has long been devoted to the biblical tradition of storytelling. For Brunetto Salvarani, Qoheleth fully lends itself to a study of this nature as an autobiographical narrative which has been interpreted in extremely different ways – nihilistically, eschatologically, pessimistically, and sceptically – but not yet fully comprehensively. In this regard, in the author’s opinion, it is in consonance with Judaism, of which it is impossible to give an unequivocal definition.
