Poesia e stupore. Antiche e nuove esperienze
by Bolzoni, Lina, Tolentino Mendonça, José
In a world marked by suffering and difficulties, two authoritative voices, an historian and literary critic and a prominent theologian, invite us to rediscover the original power of poetry. The poetic word, understood as enchantment, contemplation, and a disruptive force, is presented as a vehicle capable of breaking the limits of the everyday and opening new possibilities of meaning. In an ideal dialogue, the authors explore the inseparable connection between poetry and wonder, urging us to rediscover the power of words to nourish our imagination and desire, and to guide us toward a deeper understanding of the world and ourselves. Poetry, in fact, not only helps us understand reality but prepares us for a transformative journey that involves body, mind, and spirit, leading to a more authentic and enlightened experience of life.
