The story of a mother and son with autistic disorders. A novel where Lorenza and Achille take turns in telling the drama proposed by a terrible fate firsthand. Lorenza is deeply disappointed by an adoption that has never arrived but lives the strong desire to be a mother. Pregnancy is sought by any means and Achilles finally arrives. Joy was soon accompanied by the tragedy of the discovery that Achilles is suffering from important autistic disorders that will not allow him to have an easy life. When it is the silent and invisible voice of Achilles that speaks, the child tells himself internally because he has his special perceptions. His will be thought-out words, defined without having, unfortunately, the gift of external communication. His language is silent, strangled and words become invisible. A story crossed by a thousand feelings with Lorenza, Achille, his father Piero, his grandfather Luigi, in the unceasing effort to seek that beauty that in the end is found precisely in the lives that have the strength and courage to go beyond the banal.
