Ninna nanna a Teheran

A small group of children wander the streets of Teheran.They are dirty and poorly dressed. Their stomachs are empty and their eyes are full of rage: life has dealt them a bad hand, it has seen them born poor and lonely, into a reality where it is better not to trust grown-ups.They live for the day, slaves to a man and a woman who use them as beggars and thieves. There’s no god or destiny to protect them, just their ability to make decisions in the blink of an eye, a gun that changes hands and a flock of crows that seems to follow them everywhere.Ninna nanna a Teheran offers a portrait of modern Iran, created by an Iranian woman who, working and living abroad, has learned to recognize the beauties and the grey areas of her country with great objectivity. A story of daily despair and pitiless revenge, looking deep into these children who grew up too quickly to find their most precious treasure: their raging innocence.
