Battaglia Letizia , Pisu Sabrina
Letizia Battaglia (1935-2022), the world-famous photographer from Palermo, participated in important exhibits and events, in Italy and abroad. The New York Times chose her as one of its 11 women for the year 2017. She was the subject of the documentary Shooting the Mafia, directed by Kim Longinotto and presented at the Sundance Film Festival.
Sabrina Pisu is a freelance journalist. She has worked for various TV networks and mastheads, including Rete Due (RSI), L’Espresso, and Euronews.
