L’inconveniente di essere amati

by Pierantozzi Alcide
L’inconveniente di essere amati

Paride is 33 years old and dreams of becoming a famous singer, but maybe it’s too late for him. His secret relationship with an older and powerful man suddenly ceases. He has no choice but to leave Milan and go back to Abruzzo, to live in his grandparents’ house together with his uncle and his uncle’s family.

Here Paride gets to know Sonia, his beautiful and surly aunt, trapped with her child in a tiring marriage, and falls in love with her, against all his logical thoughts and predictions. Victim of a brutal man, Sonia becomes the centre of a new project for Paride, but he will have to leave again to make it work.

Around them, Manolo, the beach boy, sensitive and intriguing under his bully’s skin; Gianmaria, the small nephew; and a crowd of marginal characters, like the forgetful ex-teacher and the Korean acrobatic diver, populating the days and nights of the Riviera.
