L’apocalisse nuda
by Delfino, Massimiliano Luca
Five guiding principles are the cornerstones of Massimiliano Delfino’s apocalyptic poetry: (1), to go back to saying something with a shared and substantive value; (2), to return to speaking from a special place of antagonism; (3), to write every verse with a view to oppose globalism, counter the alienating effects of tourism, and salvage a drowning
humanity; (4), to reclaim the world from a global capitalism unrestrainedly enslaved by technology, and (5), to bring humankind back to when it dreamed dreams of its own. Sixth and final cornerstone: write out of love for one another, as if every word was one’s own testament.
