Iride è caduta nel pozzo

Iride è caduta nel pozzo

Philosophy… What a strange word. What does it mean? It sounds complicated, grown-up stuff. And yet philosophy is born from the capacity to wonder, nourished by curiosity, the absence of prejudices and constant questions. And, as we know, children have a lot of questions!

Here is Iride, eight years old and thousands of doubts running through her head. But who will have the right answers? The philosopher Giaime accompanies her on a walk through philosophy. Iride will have the chance to meet Heraclitus, Parmenides, Socrates, Plato and above all Thales, who is so focused on observing the stars in search of answers that he accidentally falls into a well! And so that well becomes the symbol of curiosity, the only way to knowledge.

A book that pays tribute to children’s curiosity.
