I corvi di Vincent
by Nicoli Claudio
In I corvi di Vincent, which gives the collection its title, the power of art overwhelms a simple humanity intent on surviving; in the vicissitude of Van Gogh’s contemporary double we discover the incandescent point where life and artistic revelation meet. A bitter-sweet current, balanced between irony and disenchantment, cross through these narratives. Dreamlike situations, paradoxes and existential anxieties, amused and bitter looks on the things of life. Light and deep at the same time, the author’s gaze takes us far away.
