Meeting with translator Victoria Lorini, who will present Leon Battista Alberti’s Della tranquillità dell’animo in the German version entitled Über die Seelenruhe, and philosopher and art historian Hana Gründler. Meeting in Italian and German.
In addition to presenting the first translation into German, the edition of Über die Seelenruhe includes a detailed historical and critical commentary on Alberti’s text, offering a broad overview of the sources, 15th century Florence and the great existential questions addressed by the humanist.
