Born in Pistoia (January 19, 1938), throughout his career as an art photographer, Aurelio Amendola has devoted himself intensely to contemporary subjects, eventually creating a true Gallery of Portraits of the most renowned masters of the twentieth century. He has produced countless monographs accompanied by his photographs. Amendola is known for his iconic images of sculptures rooted in the classical tradition, consistently offering a perspective inspired by a tactile and sensory vision.
