Despero

«The perfect, definitive rock novel»Despero is Gianluca Morozzi’s debut novel, now considered a classic of young adult fiction. It is the story of Kabra, ‘the worst guitarist in the world’, and of his two great loves: Despero (his band), and Sarah, the girl he has loved in secret for twelve years.Twelve years of rock fury and sentimental despair, disastrous concerts and crushed hopes, until the inevitable conclusion. Twelve years of love and guitars, against the backdrop of a changing Bologna. A novel about the passion for music, the music young people listen to but above all music play and experienced first hand. A love novel, written with fast and engaging language. A story of stages, betrayed friendships and letters never sent.
