Addenda 2021

Addenda 2021: a complex, multilayer narrative supplement, “to be added” to Legenda 2020, i.e. Legend 2020, from Latin “items to be read”, also “explanatory caption”. Originally conceived and composed in Italian by the bilingual author and scientist, each page displays a variety of fonts, specifically chosen to indicate paragraphs be either subtitled, or translated and adapted.

A chronicle, planned to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Dr. Graziella Tonfoni 1979/80-2019/20 interdisciplinary historic private archive and documental deposit, a learning facility for preservation of manuscripts, reports, articles, drawings of incremental value and rare books: alltogether a distanced teaching environment, a bibliographic compound of full momentum.

Legenda 2020 is no ventriloquism rather a verbatim verbalization; never a verbose vernacular rather a versatile prose also a vernier of verses displaying multiple versions in a multifaceted still very precise lexicon.

A consistent, cohesive, coherent emotional flow, complemented by Addenda 2021 a literary demo of how expressive writing may be turned into accurate reporting in the era of global confusion.
