Le parole della pace. 1987-2023

by Riccardi, Andrea
Le parole della pace. 1987-2023

In 1986, Pope John Paul II met with representatives from various world religions in Assisi to observe a World Day of Prayer for Peace, calling upon religions to carry forth the message of peace and to keep the spirit of Assisi alive even after the meeting’s conclusion. Beginning the following year, the Community of Sant’Egidio organised an annual international prayer gathering that would travel to diverse regions of the world. The movement’s founder, Andrea Riccardi, was a faithful witness to its journey, and often opened its proceedings. His contributions across the years are collected here within this volume.
