L’albero di ciliegie
by Petrucci Silvia
Grandma Nina had a garden with many fruit trees, but the most loved by children was the cherry tree, under (and above!) which they used to meet after school. When a mother proposed to the children to plant their own tree, they stopped meeting and the big tree could no longer bear fruit. Only thanks to the initiative of grandmother Nina the children returned to gather and have fun together, giving new life to the cherry tree. Reading age: from 4 years. Topics for reflection: Ecology, Integration, Friendship, Sharing.

Petrucci Silvia
Silvia Petrucci was born in Palermo in 1973. She is an architect, and worked in Palermo, Barcelona and Milan, until the birth of his daughter, when she decided to come back to live in Palermo. Always a great reader, she started inventing stories for her daughter who is the first attentive evaluator: only the stories that remained in her imagination have been written on paper.
Chiara Buccheri has always drawn. For Leima she illustrated Il racconto del silenzio and Dragoncello e il suo dono speciale.
