Rodari Gianni
Gianni Rodari was born in Omegna in 1920. After graduating as a teacher, he was a teacher for a few years. After the Second World War, he embarked on a journalistic career, which led him to collaborate with various periodicals. From the 1950s onwards, he started publishing his works for children, which were a huge success. In 1970, he won the prestigious ‘Hans Christian Andersen’ prize, considered the ‘Nobel Prize’ of children’s literature.
