Si vede che non era destino

by Petruccioli Daniele
Si vede che non era destino

This is the story of child. This is the story of a woman. Bewildered by a mysterious pregnancy, confused by her son’s quirkiness. A child who gives her visions up for her parents’ good; a woman who is willing to accept them back for her partner’s sake. This child, this woman is called Maria. Opting for a secular point of view and a female first person narrative, Daniele Petruccioli approaches the Mystery of Nativity to retrace, without falling for irrational patterns, one of the crucial events of Western Culture: from the Annunciation to the Crucifixion.
