L’angelo di Castelforte

On the 149th floor of a skyscraper in the heart of the City, Victor Allen, an elderly English lord, adjusts the back of his chair, puts on his tortoiseshell glasses and immerses himself in the beauty of Salento. The transparency of the sea merging with the Mediterranean scrub, the red earth dotted with olive trees, a breathtaking panorama: as soon as he sees the video shown to him by the estate agent, he decides that the estate in the ancient village of Castelforte will be his. There he will establish a residence for writers, selected from all over the world to work on a literary project.
