La perfezione
by Busso Fabrizio , Leitempergher Massimo
It is the year 1874. At the dawn of photographic era, the two protagonists live a great adventure in a Europe ravaged by wars and revolutions, only to separate for the next fifty years, losing each other without ever finding each other again. Pyotr Ilič Musorgsky is the Tsar’s ambassador to France, then a member of the Ochrana, and finally a People’s Commissar, and Henry de Lautréamont could have been the greatest photographer of his time. But time is a gentleman and gives them another chance. To reconcile before dying? Or to recall the time when they were both prisoners of the revolutionaries? Or to ask History for its judgement? Or for its absolution? They will find themselves in an unexpected place, at an unexpected time, chatting as if it were yesterday. One with his camera, the other firmly holding his gun.
