Raymond Barbieri drags his life in a Rome hot and sleepy of an end summer. He is a former private detective and now for make ends meet he searches lost dogs by owners forgetful. He no longer dream, he is firmly convinced of it. He have a bad feeling, that he has by long time lost the better part of his life.
