One of the thirty thousand desaparecidas, people who disappeared after being taken by the police. The authors reconstruct Daniel’s story using the direct testimonies of family members, friends, journalists and politicians, who together with the tennis player fought in the darkest season of Argentina’s history. Daniel’s life, according to the testimonies, was spent between the tennis courts and hiding places to escape the military police. His young broken life became a symbol of freedom for all the Argentine people.
