Joséphine Bressi, an antiques expert with an innate talent for preparing macarons and other sweets, is experiencing a period of crisis with her husband Massimiliano Martinelli, a successful architect, as she is unable to get pregnant despite undergoing invasive treatments and scheduled intercourse.
