Il cavaliere senz’ombra
by Olivieri Raffaele
France, 1295. Gualtiero, the last scion of an ancient family, inherits the armor from his father, a Knight Templar. The Crusades are over, but he doesn’t want to believe it and will use them as an excuse not to abandon his armor. He finds that his shadow disappears when he puts it on and reappears as soon as he takes it off. He leaves for the alleged Crusades and along his initiatory journey he meets a community of vagabonds, is robbed by brigands, cheated by merchants, stops in a monastery, consults a sorceress who will make him a prophecy, a philosopher who will lead him to question the meaning of life.
