Calvino Fortunato
Fortunato Calvino was born in Naples. He began his artistic career in 1978 as a theater and filmmaker. In 1985 he made his debut as a theater director and in 1990 he made his debut as an author with La Statua. After winning several prizes and awards, in 2015 he made the documentary film La Tarantina (Genere Femminèllo). His dramaturgy is the subject of study in various Italian universities and abroad.
