Translation grants: results of CEPELL’s 2021 call

The lists of beneficiaries of the call for proposals “For the translation and dissemination of Italian books and reading abroad by Italian authors” for the financial year 2021 are online.

These include 33 publishing houses and/or literary agencies for a total number of 153 works that will be translated from Italian into various foreign languages, benefiting from funding totalling 400,000 euros.

The call for proposals aimed to promote a programme of international support and enhancement of Italian publishing and culture through the translation of works of fiction, non-fiction, poetry and children’s literature, with priority given to translations into French, English, Spanish and German.
