The Night Witches, was a World War II German nickname for the all female military aviators of the 588th Night Bomber Regiment, known later as the 46th \\\’Taman\\\’ Guards Night Bomber Aviation Regiment, of the Soviet Air Forces, all of whom became heroes of the Soviet Union.The book is enriched with hundreds of photos, a lot of which unedited, taken by the authour in one of his numerous trips abroad, in Russia, where he researched for material and personal accounts. He also got to meet some of the survivors.
